Nurse Lucy Letby, the worst child serial killer in UK history, has been found guilty of killing seven newborns at Chester Hospital.

Lucy Letby, a nurse working in the children's ward at the Counties of Chester Hospital in northeastern Britain, was charged with killing seven newborns with insulin and attempting to kill 7 more children.

During the trial, prosecutors argued that Lucy Letby, a 2015-year-old nurse employed at the Counties of Chester Hospital in 2016-33, allegedly killed five newborn boys and two newborn girls.

Prosecutors said that in early 2015, the hospital administration noticed that infant deaths or their cerious condition had increased, observing that the children were dying without showing any symptoms for no reason.

He had told the court that when the doctors could not reach any conclusion, they called the police and told that there was someone in the newborn ward who was killing the children by poisoning them with insulin and two children were poisoned two days after birth. They were later rescued with medical aid.

Prosecutors believed That Nurse Lucy was directly involved in the deterioration or murder of 17 children, because she was in the hospital at the time of all these incidents.

However, nurse Lucy Letby has now been found guilty of killing seven newborns and attempted murder of six more children.

According to BBC, the administration of Chester Hospital failed to investigate the allegations against Nurse Lucy, but the government has ordered an independent inquiry and now the police are reviewing all the 4 cases that this nurse handled in her career.

Nurse Lucy is expected to receive a full life sentence, meaning she will remain in prison until she dies.
