After a long, long wait, Rockstar Games has finally announced that the trailer of the new Grand Theft Auto will be released in early December.
Earlier, Bloomberg had reported that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) could be announced as early as this or next week and the trailer could come in the month of December. Now Rockstar Games has confirmed this on its official X account (formerly Twitter).

This tweet of Rockstar Games has been getting a lot of attention on X as its viewed by almost 150 million + users.
In February 2022, Rockstar confirmed that the active development on the next Grand Theft Auto is underway, followed by a massive leak in September 2022 showing 90 videos of GTA 6 footage posted online in which a female playable character Lucia was seen robing a store in Vice City.
Grand Theft Auto IV is anticipated to arrive in 2024 or 2025.
