All eight people trapped in a chairlift at Pashto in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Batgram city have been rescued safely.

According to Rescue 1122, all eight people trapped in the chairlift have been rescued safely and those rescued include Irfan, Niaz Mohammad, Rizwan, Gulfaraz, Sher Nawaz, Abrar, Attaullah and Usama.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), pakistan army's very complex and difficult rescue operation in Batgram was successful and people trapped in the chairlift at an altitude of 600 feet were rescued.

The ISPR said that GOCSSG led the rescue operation, army aviation, SSG teams started the rescue operation expeditiously on the instructions of the Army Chief, the sling team of the Special Services Group of the Pakistan Army and the helicopter of the PAF also became part of the operation, the sling team was provided full technical support by army aviation.

Ispr says that the pilots of Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force showed unparalleled skill and performance in the operation, local cable experts were also hired in successfully completing the rescue operation, civil administration and local people also participated actively in the operation, it was a very difficult and difficult operation.
