India defeated Nepal by 10 wickets in the fifth match of the Asia Cup and secured their place in the Super 4 stage.

Nepal was bowled out for 48 in 2.230 overs and India got a target of 231 runs, but later due to rain, India got a target of 145 runs in 23 overs under the DL method.
India chased down the target of 145 runs in the 21st over without any loss. In this way, India made it to the Super Four stage.
The Super Four stage match between Pakistan and India is scheduled in Colombo on September 10, but due to the forecast of rain, the match in Colombo is expected to be affected.
