X (formerly Twitter) is bringing back link post headlines preview after it was removed back in October.
Elon Musk, owner of 𝕏 announced this change in an Xs post, where he said that 'In an upcoming release, 𝕏 will overlay title in the upper portion of the image of a URL card'.

For now, X only displays the article’s image and a link to the story.
Elon Musk also did not explain why he changed his mind.
Note that when text was removed from the preview card in October, Elon Musk said it would make posts look better.
A feature to remove headlines from link posts was started in August 2023.
On that occasion, Elon Musk said that this is being done under his direction, which will make the social media platform look better.
When the text disappeared from the link posts, then people started writing the headline in the caption of the post.
