Asia Cup 2023: India registers biggest ever ODI win against Pakistan


India registers their biggest ODI win against Pakistan by defeating Green shirts by humiliating 228 runs in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup. In reply to India's 356 runs, Pakistan team could only score 128 runs in 32 overs.

Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed by Bumrah for 9 runs, while Babar Azam was dismissed by Pandya for 10 runs.

After the rain stopped on the reserve day in Colombo, the match between Pakistan and India started and the Indian team started the game from the 25th over.

Only 24.1 overs of play were possible due to rain yesterday, in which India scored 2 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Indian batsmen KL Rahul and Virat Kohli played unbeaten innings, due to which India scored 50 runs for two wickets in 2 overs.

Virat Kohli played an unbeaten innings of 122 runs while KL Rahul also remained unbeaten on 111 runs.

Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan took one wicket each for Pakistan.

Haris Rauf didn't came in the ground to bowl any overs today, due to injury.

In a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board, it was said that fast bowler Haris Rauf has become unfit so he will not bowl in the match against India.

According to the team management, Haris Rauf has a rib problem in the back side, Haris Rauf will not bowl as a precaution.

It should be noted that the important match between Pakistan and India in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup was postponed to the reserve day due to heavy rain and bad ground field.
