Mitchell Starc becomes most expensive player in IPL history

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has become the most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The players' auction ceremony for ipl season 2024 was held today on December 19, in which the franchises bought the best players for crores of rupees to include them in their team.

In the IPL, Shah Rukh Khan's franchise Kolkata Knight Riders bought Australian fast bowler Rick for a record 24.75 crore Indian rupees.

After which Mitchell Starc has become the most expensive player in the history of IPL.

Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Australian captain Pat Cummins, who won this year's Cricket World Cup, for 20.5 crore Indian rupees, after which Pat Cummins became the second most expensive player in the history of IPL.

Last year, England fast bowler Sam Curran was bought by Punjab Kings for a record Rs 18.5 crore.
